In the wild, Trillium georgianum grows in open acidic woodlands where the soil stays moist, and occasionally floods. The 4" tall stalks arise in early spring, topped with a single flower that emerges white, but ages with pink tones. When happy, it can form 1 2' wide patches via short stolons.
